Civilization ends

How Long??  Throughout history many of the great civilizations have failed due to many factors ranging from natural disasters, wars, attrition, disease, to just a fading of the culture through change and evolution. Are all modern day civilizations simply yet another civilization that will flourish and pass with time and will there be another culture in a million years unearthing bits and pieces of our culture and trying to decide how and what we did during our time?Or are we somehow “the ones” to finally reach a level of technology and understanding that will break us free to be the greatest civilization the world has ever seen? Consider though, America isn’t the only country that is part of this civilization, the entire world is.
